The movie on the Cuban Peak Oil Crisis was very interesting. I've seen more info on their situation in the past month or two, and they're still struggling, especially with transportation issues.
It will be interesting to see how the US deals with the same issue. When there's little or no cheap oil left, how will *we* manage the one-hour commute?
Thanks for the review. I haven't seen the movie but I'm interested in it.
I'm beginning to suspect that one thing the US needs to do to be able to manage peak oil when it comes it to shift to a more European gas pricing model now. We need to put more of the costs of gas(petroleum) into the price we pay at the pump so we start making better choices now.
